Contribute to Dr. Justine Weber’s Upcoming Book on Family Estrangement Caused by Narcissistic Dynamics
Family estrangement can be deeply confusing, isolating, and emotionally painful, especially when a narcissistic individual is at the center of the separation. Many people experience manipulation, gaslighting, blame, emotional abuse, and coercive control that ultimately fractures relationships and creates painful distance between family members. In some cases, estrangement is a conscious decision made to protect one's well-being. In others, it happens unexpectedly and feels entirely outside of a person's control.
Dr. Justine Weber, clinical psychologist and author, is currently gathering anonymous survey responses as part of her upcoming 2027 book exploring the experience of family estrangement that occurs as a result of narcissistic dynamics.
This project seeks to better understand the emotional and psychological impact of these experiences, including the grief, confusion, isolation, self-doubt, and loss that often follow family estrangement. The survey also explores how narcissistic dynamics influence family systems, trust, identity, relationships, and the healing process that comes afterward.
If you have experienced estrangement from a family member that was directly or indirectly caused by a narcissistic individual, your perspective may help bring greater awareness, understanding, and validation to others navigating similar experiences.
All responses are completely anonymous and confidential. Insights gathered may contribute to broader themes and discussions included in the book.
Your experience matters, and your voice may help someone else feel less alone.
